I received some new minifigs today, spanning a wide range of the Star Wars universe:

We have Captain Rex, Cad Bane, and three Rebel Endor Troopers. Luckily, they will end up in different displays, so the Endor Troopers won’t have to deal with a time rift to explain why Captain Rex is here.
This rebel soldier patiently waits for his uniform to come out of the dryer:

I just wanted to share some photos of sets and displays at LEGO Store Rockefeller Center in New York this week. First up, the new exclusive set: Maersk Container Ship 10155:

And the price:

I stopped by the LEGO Store in Rockefeller Center twice this week, and found some great deals – 75% of some sets. Included is the Venator-class Republic Attack Cruiser set #8039 for $65. This is half off, but still a good find. At 75% was Home One Mon Calamari Star Cruiser set #7754 for a mere $35! Also, Midi Scale Star Destroyers were $13 and change:

Notice Rockefeller Center behind the display:

A bunch of Atlantis stuff was on sale for 75% off:

I arrived just as they were putting a lot of these deals out:

More Star Wars, Atlantis, and of course, Prince of Persia Ostrich Races for $6!

Some minifgure magnets, the Han Solo, Ewok, Scout Trooper set for $4.50 each. These were put out, and a moment later they were gone.

Some Racers sets on sale:

More Atlantis, that was priced around $13:

And finally, some more magnet sets, the less popular ones:

In all, some great deals, and proof that LEGO is still getting shipments of sale items. My visits were two days apart, and they had MORE sale merchandise the second time I went.
My LEGO Stormtrooper alarm clock arrived this week:

Otherwise, just some updates on Target and Toys R Us LEGO availability. The now infamous $14.95 LEGO City Corner at Target:

Target had this Atlantis set at 50% off, Wreck Raider 8057:

They also had a bunch of city sets at 10% off:

And this nice little poster of Star Wars LEGO minifigs:

I found this random markdown that actually scanned in at $17 and change, Star Wars Echo Base 7749 set:

Everywhere I go, Ninjago seems to be a huge seller:

Over at Toys R Us, I was surprised to see a new batch of Indiana Jones Ambush in Cairo sets 7195. At $15, a little pricey:

TRU had 10% off the new Star Wars Clone Trooper packs. I grabbed a few.

My local Target is finally recovering from the holiday season, and is beginning to setup their 2011 aisles, starting with the LEGO aisle. It was shiny and clean, and in a new place than it was just a week ago. In checking out the new sets, I found two pleasant surprises: mispriced sets!
The first is LEGO City Corner set 7641, marked $14.98 instead of $59.99:

I grabbed the last of the City Corner sets. There weren’t any available at Targets in a wide radius from where I live, but I know they had the same pricing.
The LEGO Ninjago Spinjitzu Dogo set 2504 was also mispriced at a 20% discount, and with the wrong label:

I picked up one of these as well, even though I still think it’s overpriced at $40.
Here’s a look at the rest of the 2011 LEGO aisle at Target:

Some Harry Potter sets are finally back in stock:

Stopped by another LEGO Store today, and was surprised to find the Technic 8258 Crane Truck at half price. They had two, and I bought both of them, along with another Home One set 7754 and the Han Solo magnet set at half price too:

This LEGO Store is pretty small:

Their 50% off pile has dwindled, but I was surprised to see so many Midi Star Destroyers in stock:

They had a full display of Ninjago sets, which I saw plenty of parents/kids buying:

Ninjago minifigs:

The big hole in the shelves are where the Technic Crane Trucks were:

They still had a few of the Harvesters in stock at half price:

Very cool magnet, the vintage space minifig. At $10 each, I passed.

A very popular set, 9348 the town people. I saw one woman buy this while I was there.

They had one of the newer Star Wars sets, but this sold while I was there as well:

Star Wars magnets on sale:

They had a bin of Series 3 minifigs in the back. They poured another box into here before I left:
